AVS

has grown to produce and provide a broad portfolio of products and services to the automotive industry throughout Greece and Internationally. From the foundation, the distinctive AVS values of innovative power, integrity, and devotion were in the focus - along with the employees as well as towards customers. Through the experienced and highly trained personnel in Athens AVS is able to provide the best solutions and best organized training services and technical support.

Year 1999 Institute for Educational services in automotive technologies. Educational consulting were provided to government institutes such as Ministry of Transportation or Technical Chamber of Greece while providing technical support on diagnostic tools.
Year 2000 Entering serial communications with AVS. The first device with full board SMD, which fully supports OBDII communications. Striking attention is caused by the extremely small size. One of the strongest points was the ease of use and full alignment with fleet. This device is able to diagnose even today, many vehicles without requiring not even one update on software or hardware level. The production was defined by METELKO (strictly certified company which serves the arms industry). The device was able to cover the OBDII communication protocols ISO 9141, KWP 2000 Fast (ISO 14230) and KWP 2000 Slow (ISO 14230). At the same time AVS begins collaborating with the NTUA(National University of Athens) for two new innovative devices of high standards, one parallel and one serial.
Year 2002 2002 - AutoExplorer1, series 3 and Strong parallel daigonostic device SHARP TRACK. All were presented the same year in the exhibition Automechanica Frankfurt gaining very positive reviews.

Sharp Track is a parallel device for diagnosing errors and it can be used for engine testing in a laboratory level but also as a diagnostic tool. The system allows real-time analysis of all engine signals simultaneously.

The AutoExplorer1 series 3 is the first miniature-diagnostic tool. It's pioneer technology create and make usage of automatic channel switching (automatic switching), which creates a current that is later followed and adopted by all manufacturers! None device until then supported this feature and in meantime smaller sizes of devices begun to appear.

It also supports the following functions:
  • Engine Management
  • ABS
  • SRS
  • Climate Control
  • Automatic Transnission
  • Instruments
  • Immobilizer
  • Body Control
  • Ecu Identification
  • Read/Erase Trouble Codes
  • Read LiveData
  • Live Data Recording/Graphical Analysis
  • Statuses
  • Component Activations
  • Basic Settings
  • Service Reminder Inditicators Reset

A big range of European, Japanese and Korean vehicles are covered.

Year 2003 AVS presentation in the International Exhibition Equip Auto with AutoExplorer1, series 3,4,5 and 6. The development of the device is continuous and the smallest and the first wireless version is being presented.
Year 2004 Again presentation in Automechanica Frankfurt with AutoExplorer A0 which supports CANBUS.
Year 2006 Development in hardware and software which expands CAN communication support, completely automatic and thus the basis is put for further vehicles to use it.
Year 2008 Implemented specialized applications for all vehicles, fully harmonized with factory standards, enabling encodings and 105 ECU of the VAG group and many other specialized functions.
